Lovely place to visit on the outskirts of the New Forest near to Ringwood. The garden head plenty of shade and is split up into several small gardens. Did is very good today despite there being no gas at the time which obvious limited the menu. Four different ales which is all I look for.

I loved being able to sit out in the sunshine. I had scampi and chips and the scampi were the best I've ever had, moist and succulent. There were building works being carried out at the time I was there which meant a slightly different walk to the bar but that wasn't a problem. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Very pleasant environment to meet up with friends and family. The toddlers really enjoyed the playground so we were lucky the rain held off. The food was good especially the chips, which can be hard to get right. The staff were friendly and approachable..

We stopped here for a car event, on route to Christchurch. Although we only had a drink, there were plenty of people eating and the food looked delicious. There's a spacious car park in front of the pub - which is really attractive. There are outside tables, for warmer days. Dogs are allowed inside and out. The staff were friendly and welcoming providing a good service. The bathrooms are clean. The wild ponies wander on the large grass area at the front. A great place to stop in the middle of the new forest.
