Kay Rogers5 StarIdeally situated in a side street next to the shops, close to the car parks. It's popular and usually full, even midweek in the day time. Great value drinks and food. The alcoves are popular, so you're lucky if you can get one.Sunday 3rd April 2022
malcolm glanister5 StarA gang of ex Tesco employees invaded the pub at around 2-0pm , feeling ravenous.
They'd had a busy lunchtime but we all got seated at tables loaded with plates and glasses.
In no time the tables were cleared & cleaned while we ordered at the bar .
We got our food within ten/ twelve minutes as we enjoyed our drinks.
All staff I spoke to were smiling and efficient.

Peter Lewis3 StarNo Fish & Chips availabe of Fish Friday !! Dirty chairs which need cleaning. Has gone down over last few months good staff but they are over stretched, glasses piled up awaiting collection. I am a fan of Weatherspoons, and used to enjoy The Acorn but it has slipped down a lot. Need to get it sorted asap.
HAS IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY AS OF YESTERDAY. CHOICE OF FOOD AND AVAILABLE. QUALITY STAFF ARE VERY GOODFriday 11th March 2022
