Our exotic restaurant is situated on Market street in the town of Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire. Our fully trained Thai Chefs offer a wide range of dishes from all over Thailand and are always looking to experiment with new dishes or personal favourites, let us treat you to a high level of customer service and quality food for a night you simply will not forget. Our restaurant aims to bring you all of the beautiful wonders of Thailand in one place. The restaurant has been built around the basic principle of creating an authentic Thai atmosphere, step through our front door and you leave England and venture into Taste of Thai. We are happy to take bookings for parties and special occasions as we able to accommodate parties of up to 100 people. However please let us know before hand and any special arrangements are happy to be made for you, we aim to make your experience as intimate and as personal as possible.

Ate here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely delicious. We had one of the set menus and the food was exceptional for the price. Service and staff were polite and very attentive. Will definitely be returning!

Great little place for lunch or dinner. Set menu at lunchtimes which is varied and plentiful. Lovely fresh ingredients. Good selection of drinks. Great value for money. Staff are attentive and friendly. Our party was very impressed and we will be visiting again 🙂

Bad service but absolutely beautiful food. Me and my partner had a set 3 course meal the starter and the main was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Unfortunately we did not stay for the last course this is because the service was just way over the top. I suffer from severe anxiety but because it was my birthday we wished to celebrate at Taste of Thai which was recommended by a friend. We felt extremely uncomfortable and rushed, we had waiters surrounding us and waiters hovering around us waiting for us to finish. We kept getting asked if we had finished eating although food was still remaining on our plates. We felt extremely rushed and not comfortable at all. I would recommend perhaps takeaway or delivery if they deliver. Did not like the restaurant environment at all and felt that the staff was very rude in regards to giving us time to eat and relax comfortably.

I can’t recall how many times I have recommended Taste of Thai to anybody who would listen. I lived in Thailand and have also visited many times in the last 15 years (so I’d like to think I know good Thai food) and can say hands down this is the best Thai I have had the pleasure of eating in the UK. Big statement I know but I stand by it! I ended up going on about it so much I arranged a Christmas meal for the team here in Dec last year. We had a large group of us (30 in total) and were seated upstairs. They catered to all dietary requirements and the night couldn’t have gone smoother. The meals were exceptional and exceeded my already high expectations. If you want authentic Thai that is so incredibly delicious, this is your place. Also side note, The owners are the sweetest people and are always so welcoming whenever I visit. Yours always, A customer for life

Loved it, had set meal number 2, taste of Thai platter sharer was perfect and outstanding, Thai duck & Thai sizzling beef main courses were beautiful. Owners very nice and friendly.
