Taj Tandoori

The Taj Tandoori is a bright and airy space to dine. Serving authentic traditional Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine alongside classic curry house favourites. We are renowned for our friendly and relaxing atmosphere, where our guests are treated like family, coming back time and time again to unwind, laugh and celebrate. We have visited many Indian restaurants but keep coming back to the Talj Tandoori as the service is extremely friendly and the food is always flavoursome and fantastic. We visit at least once a week if not more and have been eating here for well over 10 years.  The menu is so varied we never get bored of dining here.  Thank you for being our local.

Excellent. Food is authentic and delicious. Staff were really nice and service was fast. Highly recommend. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to.

I was cautious when looking at the exterior decor as thought it looked a bit cheap/ tacky, but as there was several people sitting in there, for a Tuesday evening, I thought must be fairly good. I'm glad I gave it a go! The interior design is much nicer and feels more like a restaurant. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were good and the price was fantastic. Will definitely be returning. Don't judge a book by it's cover 😊

Had a takeaway from here - was some of the best Indian food I have ever had! Really surprised at the quality and taste. Staff were not very welcoming and gave the impression that they would rather I hadn't been there, but as I was getting a takeaway wasn't a problem!

Bad night at Taj Tandoori. Very slow service. Starters came without their sauce and were dry to taste. A long wait for the main courses and when they arrived some dishes were cold and others had congealed sauce as though they had been under heating lamp for a long time. A side dish was missing which the waiter said was on its way but never arrived. Disappointed. Have been to this restaurant in the past and it was great. Not sure what has changed tonight but I'd think twice about going back.
