Had to place 3 different food orders due to each choice being out of stock. No battered fish. No peas. Eventually I ordered a curry and rice only to be asked 20 minutes later could they give me chips instead, because there was no rice left. Nice surroundings in the pub and the staff serving us did make an effort and were helpful and friendly but the lack of various food options was disappointing.

Ordered the halloumi wrap.....good sized portion, freshly made and hot, BUT where were the roasted peppers? - certainly not in the wrap! Lots of fairly raw red onion, most of which I had to remove - plenty of raw red onion in the side salad too. Roasted peppers are delicious and tasty; to miss them out is not acceptable.

Excellent food and at a good price. 10 of us including 5 kids and only paid £85. We'll pleased. Recommend it.

This was our first visit. We had the lunch club menu. We tried the avocado, chicken and bacon sandwich with chips and salad and the southern fried chicken sandwich with chips and salad. Although the sandwich was nice, the salad and avocado were poor quality, turning brown and wilted, which spoilt an otherwise nice lunch. It was good value, but we did notice most people taking lunch left their salads. Hopefully this will improve. The management team have responded with their apologies. I am sure this was a one off. Thank you Kylie for your feedback. We will revisit on our next trip to Heysham.
