Our well-trained staff will encourage your child to develop through play and a variety of activities as well as helping him or her to get along with other children, sharing, listening and expressing ideas. These are great lessons, not only for Big School, but for life! We understand that choosing a nursery for your child is an important decision. You need to feel confident that nursery staff will understand your child as an individual and provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment. We are fortunate to have a stable and well-motivated staff group, and largely through their efforts we are a popular facility for young children. This means that we are usually full or close to full, but we do keep a Waiting List. Children have an inherent curiosity about the world, which prompts a need to learn as much as possible, as quickly as possible.There is no hard and fast separation possible about how children learn - though play and the freedom of their imaginations; through social interaction with others; and through formal teaching.
