Steamer Quay Club Campsite is due to undergo a full redevelopment.

Economy pitches will be converted to 46 new non-awning serviced pitches, while the work will also see new motor van waste points, new service points, a new electric vehicle charging point and a refurbishment of the toilet block. The campsite is currently closed and is expected to reopen during summer 2023 (subject to planning permission, therefore exact details and dates are subject to change).

Steamer Quay Club Campsite is a pleasantly quiet, green and spacious holiday getaway, with serene pastoral views. The beautifully kept caravan park is just a short walk away from the bustling town of Totnes, for a wide choice of local pubs and restaurants. Totnes has been a significant port for many centuries and is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the banks of its busy river while taking in the historic atmosphere. Further up the hill you will reach a place called The Narrows, the oldest part of the town and a must-see sight for visitors to the area.

While staying at Steamer Quay Club Campsite, you are within easy reach of the historic Guildhall and museum. The picturesque village of Dartington is only a short stroll away, and with beautiful gardens, outdoor theatre and a cinema, Dartington Hall is well worth a visit. The Tuesday Pannier market is a convenient location for a spot of shopping - a popular event with locals and tourists alike, the stallholders dress in traditional Elizabethan costume and sell a vast range of fresh local produce. Boat trips to the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth leave from the dock just across the road from Steamer Quay. The caravan site promises a memorable break and the opportunity to absorb the traditional English life.

All pitches at this site are economy, with no Electric Hook Up.

Brilliant location. Handy for everything. Totnes is so lovely and authentic. Good bus hub. Lovely butchers and bakeries plus individual quirky shops. The church is well worth a visit. Boat trip to Dartmouth gorgeous.

Probably one of the best located CAMC sites. 5 minute walk into Totnes with its collection of great restaurants and takeaways. Toilets and showers are basic but well maintained. No hookup but that's no problem if you have solar. For a great meal try the bull Inn at the top of the high street. Expensive but worth every penny.

Arrived today and not disappointed we've been wanting to stay here and it's such a popular site, I can understand why the team here are so helpful and explained about arriving after 1pm which was perfect as when we arrived we could go straight to our pitch, we brought our older dogs and the site is so close to so many places. Kept pristine with a friendly atmosphere thank you for all your help
