A good leisure centre but SO MANY STUDENTS. Having to queue for equipment in the gym and limited opening times has made me cancel my membership, such a shame as I was enjoying the centre before students came back, there simply isn't enough equipment in the gym for the amount of people in there. The swimming pools are good but the drain flies have been a known issue for months and I've raised my concerns several times, when getting my young daughter and baby boy changed the last thing you want is loads of dirty flies all over the walls. The council have now announced extending parking charges until 10pm, this just impacts everyone living outside walking distance. The council then put the membership prices up, it's just not acceptable with the cost of living to add these unnecessary charges to everybody. I've not joined a 24 hour gym with great equipment and plenty for everybody.

St Sidwell's point is the best thing that's happened to Exeter. It's just what Exeter needed. The gym is huge and well equipped. The machines aren't too close together either. The swimming pools are both a good size and it's nice that there is usually a pool available to the public when either pool is in use by either swimmings lessons or club nights. The cafe is reasonably priced and staff are friendly. It's a great place to visit 😃

Definitely a nice pool, good lane times, set up for the public (finally); plenty of availablity for lane swimming, wide lanes - its busy but that just shows you that the need/desire was there for a new pool for a long time. Water Quality is excellent, no more blocked noses for me! Will keep me coming there above all else.

God it's awful as is the Riverside. Nice building etc like Devon is a beautiful county. But the people including staff are rude. Have no disability training and I hope it all comes crashing down. I'm back at Fitness first and will use Exeter Uni for my swimming needs. Fitness First have been amazing so far. Exeter Leisure will never change or listen to feedback as they are a council ran worm hole! Want money only and it's been a waste of tax payers money.

Brilliant place. The pools are great and warm. The learner and main pools are same levels of water so u won't go too deep. As I'm 5ft 6lns the level of main is at my chest and learner is at my waist. The staff are lovely. The changing are clean, u will have to remove your shoes before going in. The baby changing table is quite small for my 1 year old. The babies pool is fab, the level is like beach type, there has splash play.
