This is a wonderful place.Not only does it excel in teaching and support but it has the heart. The staff alone make this nursery beat any in the area. A nursery that wants your child to grow and feel comfortable. Its not big but it is clever and whats more its unbelievably rare. One of the best parental decisions I have made.

My son was due to start nursery in april2020, due to the lockdown he was unable to start u till Sept 2020. He had the best 10 months at this fabulous nursery being an Aug baby he is not yet 4 and starting school in September 2021, thanks to the wonderful caring team at St Luke's they have given him the confidence to succeed, the best decision I made was choosing st Lukes I wish he could of had longer here, we will miss you all. Thank you for all your hard work during what has been a challenging time.

Our daughter has had one and a half wonderful years at this incredibly special nursery. The outstanding staff are professional, and totally focussed on the wellbeing and progression of each individual child. From the beginning, our daughter needed additional support and the team at St Luke’s stopped at nothing to make sure she got the help that she needed to prepare her for the best start at primary school. My husband and I are both teachers, and we found that the experience of the staff and enthusiasm to further our daughter’s interests are just some of the key reasons we would highly recommend this nursery. The nursery has a strong sense of community and has put us in touch with some lovely families in the area. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Best nursery in town with amazing, caring staff. As they operate out of church halls, the toys get set up and packed away daily, leading to ever-changing, engaging play areas for the children. There was always an exciting, new area greeting the children each morning. I imagine during the pandemic, this kind of set up will also be advantageous in cleaning and disinfecting toys more thoroughly. Whist their outdoor area is a bit compact, there was always plenty of adventure in the mud kitchen, gardening area, and sand and water tables. Outstanding SEND support too!

I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a preschool for their child. I have 3 children who all went to St Luke’s and I believe they gave them the best possible start to their early education. What I liked most about St Luke’s was their genuine personal interest in the children in their care. They made nursery a fun, stimulating and secure environment to be with many added extras. My children would always come back from their time there with lots of exciting and interesting things to tell me about their day. Their SENCO services are also excellent. Two of my children have special needs and St Luke’s were invaluable in providing the support they needed and prepared them so well for primary school. A truly special little nursery!
