Rolland5 StarThis magnificent and well preserved church boasts memorials to the Speke family, including that of John Hanning Speke (4 May 1827 - 15 September 1864), the reputed first European explorer to discover the source of the Nile River and Lake Victoria. There are other artifacts of interest such as the Saxon urn. It´s well worth paying a visit and enjoy the history.Saturday 25th August 2018
