Needs to watch its pricing, own brand goods ok but brand names expensive. Reductions on goods should have the bar code labelled out so that you are not overcharged for goods, especially when they have gone out of date and therefore overcharged.

A local convenience store with prices to match. Prices have crept up everywhere in recent months but £3.49 for a tin of coconut milk is a step too far. This is just one example of the extortionate prices I have seen recently. My recent purchases of fresh fruit have also been terribly disappointing, mouldy strawberries and grapes that have seen better days. On the positive side, it's a well stocked store with a good choice of products and long opening times.

Ever since new management has taken over the store, they have taken the time to make vast improvements to the business. They have made the shop bigger thus more products on the shelves. It is very clean and got a great range of products. I am spoilt for choice. The staff are amazing! Very helpful and great people to have a chat with. This is my local store and I am grateful that we have this store in the village where I can pick up little things that I may have forgotten to buy when I do my weekly stop. They have also extended the store hours, even on Sundays! Great shop, great staff and great customers service.

I recently went to Stradbroke Spar and found my card was declined, I said as I don't live close by I would have to leave my shopping, Minal Odedra came over and said she would pay for my shopping and I could pay her back when I got home. I haven't been in the shop very often and pointed this out but she said she would trust me. How very kind and thoughtful, and saved me a lot of time, let alone petrol. I was so grateful that such a kind and trusting person would do such a wonderful thing for me. It will not be forgotten.
