The twenty-acre park is nestled into the hillside with panoramic views of the mountain of Skiddaw and the northern fells.

The park provides easy access to the market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick (approx. 10 and 15 mins drive respectively) as well as the western Lake District and Solway Coast, we are within 30 minutes drive of the Great Border City of Carlisle and, and within an hour you can reach the Lake District hot-spots of Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere

A wonderful site to stay on, well maintained and tidy, lots of wildlife which is lovely to see and hear, it is great that areas have been left for the birds and animals, great views of the surrounding area. Easy to navigate around the site, On walking around the site they have a lovely play area for the children and there is also a dog agility area. The laundry room is a great asset and good price £3 for a wash and £1 for 30mins tumble dryer.

I've just enjoyed an enjoyable and relaxing stay in one of the 'Dobby Lodges' in this excellent holiday park. I love the tranquillity and privacy the park offers, and the fact that it is only a short drive to reach the northern lakes. Unfortunately, I had to remove one star due to a problem with flies. I'd also add that those with mobility and/or balance issues may find getting in and out of the shower in the Dobby Lodge a problem. This is the view over to the northern fells on the morning I left; I'm looking forward to my return!

Lovely park an ideal position in the North Lake District. Just a shame that when you attempt to purchase like we did and an offer is accepted only to receive a phone call from Mark the day after who wasn't in the slightest bit helpful, telling us that the caravan was now sold. We are not usally ones to complain and appreciate that everyone is going through difficult times due to the Covid 19 situation however a more ethical sales approach would have been welcome. Just be cautious when looking to buy on certain holiday parks.
