Sherborne Arms

The Sherborne Arms is a family owned traditional English pub. Four generations of the family currently aim to give customers a warm welcome when they visit the beautiful 16th century cotswold stone inn, as they have done for the past 30 years.

It sits nestled below the village of Aldsworth overlooking open fields, with a pretty flower bordered pub garden for al fresco meals. The kitchen provides a good range of meals specialising in warming casseroles and fresh fish including Bibury trout, sourced locally. Vegetarians and gluten free foods are highlighted on the menu. We have a childrens menu & disabled facilities. Dogs are welcome in the bar

The pub is a perfect meeting spot, situated between Burford, Northleach and Cirencester, and the beautiful villages of Bibury & Coln St Aldwyns

We had lunch here today. Lovely place with friendly staff. We hadn't booked and were able to get a table. Very pretty little garden with little play area suitable for Toddlers only. Dog friendly in Bar and garden area only. Food was really lovely, we had the Bilbury Trout, new potatoes and salad, Breaded Cod, chips and salad. Kids had fish fingers chips and beans. Would recommend and visit again. Great range of food available on the menu and very good value/reasonably priced.

Really appreciated how the team went out of their way once I said I am vegan. The chef offered a range of options and then additions to the salad option I chose, which I gratefully accepted and the dish was delicious! When I flagged a horse in the nearby field had an issue with its rug, they quickly contacted the owner. Lovely atmosphere, outside garden for enjoying the sunset and fantastic food all round. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We enjoyed a really delicious Sunday Lunch at the Sherborne Arms today. The menu was great and had plenty of choice for all three generations of our family. My 4 year old daughter was especially impressed with the children's ice cream sundae! The pub was spotlessly clean, all of the staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.
