The rooms were extremely comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast and dinner were exemplary. Can’t fault it. We will definitely be back!Sunday 15th May 2022
Alan Jones5 StarI can't compliment The Sheep enough for its hospitality and food. The guys that work there cannot do enough to make your evening as enjoyable as possible. I had the local steak which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the sea food linguine. Overall a real treat to find such a lovely place to eat.Sunday 22nd May 2022
Lizzie Arnold2 StarService extremely slow, and staff were not particularly helpful. Sat outside in the beer garden which was a lovely setting. Were told we had to order inside if we sat outside which was strange but fine, went to order to be told we had to pay for our food before ordering however other tables had tabs for drinks not sure how it really differs. We paid for the food when it arrived the pizza one person ordered was missing the chicken so had to be re-cooked, burgers were over cooked, there was no cutlery we had to go and find it! They never put the lights on outside so ended up sitting in darkness we asked for the lights to be turned on as we could see them only to be given a response of basically no! The atmosphere created didn't make you feel welcome, it was also very expensive for very little.Saturday 25th June 2022
Tony Kerbey4 StarLoved this place, a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere were just what we needed. The staff were very friendly, attentive and dog friendly too. Didn't think I would have the best pizza for ages in a Cotswolds pub/hotel but there it is. They have wood-fired pizza oven and the bases are thin and crispy; delicious. Joe Benn5 StarGreat food, everything fresh and tasty. The service was great - staff were very friendly and the food arrived quickly. The dessert we wanted was sold out but ordered an alternative (vanilla cheesecake) which was super-tasty.
Interesting and comfortable decor too.
Parking on the road outside is busy but there is a large carpark just a couple of minutes walk down the hill.Thursday 2nd June 2022
