Seriously Good Landscapes has been formed for 12 years. We gain the most satisfaction making something really special out of wasted garden spaces. The owner of the business, Sam Bairstow studied a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design at the renowned Brunel University in West London. "My concept of form and function was developed over the 4 year period at Brunel through a rigorous hands on approach that brought together the practise and theory of empirical thinking."

"After leaving Brunel, there was a shift in my aspirations as I wanted to be based in the South West, the 2008 financial crash was upon us & I needed a route to put what I had learned to good use. I had trained and qualified as a tree surgeon and  there was therefore an obvious choice: to combine my skills & create Seriously Good Landscapes which specialise in Landscape design & build, Tree house design & build and Garden studio design & build. This ensured a best of both worlds scenario; creative designing & hands-on work with a tangible outcome."
