From next Sunday (4th September) we shall be starting a new series in the book of 1 Corinthians. The church at Corinth was planted by Paul on his second missionary journey in about AD50. Corinth was very cosmopolitan, and renowned for its moral excesses - in many ways, it resembles our own culture today. The Corinthian Christians very soon encountered major problems as they struggled to live out their new-found faith amid the pressures of the world around them - hence we have called the series 'Messy church' - and we suspect there is much we can learn from the issues that they faced in our own situation today, as we face intense pressure from the increasingly corrupt world that surrounds us.

A service is also held at the Church on the Green in Budleigh Salterton at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of the month.

Our family visited this church on holiday a couple of weeks ago. If you're looking for solid, clear Bible teaching and a friendly welcoming congregation we would very highly recommend it.
