Really nice people, very gluten free friendly!! Gluten free pizza was best we've had for a long time! They even have a completely separate dog friendly eating area. Sal is an excellent host. Bring your own booze as not licensed, so we even had a favourite bottle of wine to compliment the food. Will be back if in the area again.

We came across sal's Italian during our peak district break and we already can't wait to go back, this place gets busy so it's worth booking a table in advance. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious, staff were friendly with excellent service and the place had a lovely atmosphere in a modern setting. During our meal, my bracelet fell off my wrist, Sal had my number from our booking and called me shortly after we left to let me know, a kind gesture that didn't go amiss, thank you.

When we arrived, the restaurant was booked out during valentine's weekend. The manager was accommodating and thoughtful, creating room for three of us to dine before the next reservation arrived. Food was quickly served together, piping hot. It was extremely delicious and satiating. Staff and manager was very attentive throughout, reminding us to not rush and enjoy despite their busy scheduling. Even as the table arrived, they were told to patiently wait as we were finishing up/leaving. Very good service. Vegetarian option and recommendations was also provided.

The food was good, particularly the arancini with a peppery sauce. The main room of the restaurant looked quite nice but we had to sit in the smaller side room, close to the kitchen, with the front door open so it was a bit cold. The atmosphere wasn't so good in there and we had to keep jackets on all meal because it wasn't warm.

Absolutely delicious! My partner says ‘that’s the best calzone I’ve ever had’. 10/10, would recommend visiting. Also, byo alcohol is a bonus. Fairly priced, and the staff were super friendly.
