Safestyle installed approx 10 doors/windows in Feb 2020 and since then there are still unresolved issues. I have had numerous engineers and locksmiths out all telling me different things. One engineer said put Vaseline on the windows to help them open! I didn’t spend over 12k to be told to put Vaseline on them. Finally the 4th engineer said all the windows and doors had been ill fitted and will have to be re done which will take 4 hours. So almost over a year of being fobbed off I finally get someone who knew what they talking about and told the truth. The locksmiths even said the windows had been poorly fitted. I have had many cancellations, engineers have also come to my property with the wrong materials several times and my appointment gets rescheduled every 3 months. If you decide to go with Safestyle you take a chance on the cowboy fitters they send to do your windows and or doors. I assume the ones who have rated this company positively is due to them having decent fitters doing a proper job. I had 2 more windows done, but this time used a local builder to source the windows (as they all come from the same place) and with the installation and labour this cost me £600. I so wished I had done this originally as would have saved myself 50% of the costs. As a gesture of good will, Safestyle issued me with a pathetic £200 compensation and 18 months have passed with still unresolved matters. I would recommend customers to source a good local builder to get them the windows and install it for them for fraction of the price.

We would highly recommend Safestyle. After our experiences with other major double glazing firms they were by far and away the best of the bunch. The initial caller on the doorstep was not at all pushy, was very friendly and assuring. This continued with the meeting with the first sales rep who was not at all pushy. He listened to our concerns and was accommodating. He understood our needs and budget and there were no hidden costs at all, everything was up front and honest. The head salesman who visited later was also very polite and offered us a good deal. We were talked through the process from start to finish and he explained what to expect and gave us a chance to ask questions and express our concerns. The surveyor was very honest, talked though everything in detail, explained situation and reasons for any minor changes and seemed to have our best interests at heart. There was a telephone sales call to readjust price to take into account the fact we needed lintels and Safestyle were understanding and met our needs 100%. All prices were very clearly laid out and agreed upon with no hidden costs and everything was accounted for and paid for in the agreed manner. On the day the fitters were very polite and extremely hard working, going all day long and working through lunch. They were very professional and friendly and tidied up after them. Every visit and decision was followed up with contact and phone calls to ensure that everything met our needs and that we were not being pressured or did not misunderstand what was happening. We are currently very happy with the job done and we would highly recommend Safestyle and use them again.

The fitting team arrived promptly and work tirelessly throughout the day. The work was carried out in a very professional manner making sure that all surfaces were covered. The windows all fitted perfectly so the initial survey and measurements were very good. After completion the sure was left clean and tidy and all the old windows were taken off site. The windows look fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

I had a door fitted on 27/09/18 job number 1286533 , installer was Darren Harrison, Darren installed the door. At the end of the job Darren said to me I haven’t got your 3 blank keys nor have I got your thumb turn lock he said to me “ between me and you it’ll be quicker me getting the lock and keys and coming back without informing the company ,and he said to me that he’s cut the door frame around the telephone box and to get bt out to relocate the box and when I come to fit your lock I will change it for you, as it will be quicker” it’s now the 12th October I’ve had 3 phone conversations with Darren with him promising me he’ll be there that day but never turned up, Darren promised me and I took his word so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but it’s been a month now and I’m still left with missing parts and a chunk out of my door frame I’ve attached photos to this email.
