Since the age of 5 I have had the privilege to share my life with several family dogs and for the past 12 years I've been the devoted pawrent to Macy, our precious Beagle (that’s her in the picture, wasn’t she gorgeous?). Sadly, our time with Macy came to an end and although we’ve not been able to fill the big paws she left behind, we greatly miss the energy of a canine companion around the house. For this reason, we have a lot of love to give and will care for your furkid as our own, so if you're looking for a trustworthy and caring home from home environment for your dog, you've found it!

Ruffles dogs is one of the best doggy daycares/boarders we have utilized! After the initial meet and greet we knew our dog Ralph would be in the most capable hands! The onboarding process was simple and getting in touch with Matt to check on dates and availability is always seamless! Being the Uber attached Pawrents that we are, we are always so appreciative of the pup-dates we get throughout the day! Most of the time I wish I could trade places with Ralph as he always looks like he’s living his best life at Ruffles!! It’s also so lovely seeing how dedicated they are to dog health and wellness, they are always letting us in on all the tips and tricks for being first time dog owners! Additionally, they are always on top of it when it comes to making the dogs feel like they’re at home! I particularly love that the flooring in the dog room looks as if it’s grass, such a lovely addition to make the dogs feel in their element! They really go above and beyond in all canine-related areas! Ralph is always so excited to go to Ruffles and he always comes back all tuckered out from all the fun - which makes us feel incredible. I’d recommend Ruffles to any and every pawrent, they are so passionate about animals that it automatically puts you at ease when you drop off your fur-child. 12/10 would recommend Ruffles to anyone and everyone searching for a good doggy daycare/boarding in the area, there’s a reason why they’re always so booked out, they’re incredible and all us Pawrents know it!! 😁

My doberman Thor (18 months) has been walking with Jan and Matt everyday (except lock down of course) since late last year and honestly they have been the best thing to happen to us. Thor absolutely adores them and nothing is to much trouble, he gets the very most out of his walks and always comes home well exercised and very happy. They have got him happily socialising with other dogs, have helped fix his recall issue and generally improved his behaviour all round. Very happy with them, we wont be going anywhere.

We couldn’t recommend Ruffles highly enough. Matt came to the rescue at very short notice due to a change of plans, to look after our 10 month old puppy and she had the most wonderful time staying here. Matt sent us photos and updates whilst we were away and we knew she was in fantastic hands. They take care of all the dogs as if they were their own, and every time Luna sees Matt and Jan she gets so excited, showing us how comfortable she is with them and how much fun she’s had. We will certainly always use Ruffles for home boarding in the future.

Matt is amazing! He clearly loves dogs! He took our energetic young beagle in at late notice and treated him as his own! He knew so much about beagles already and he didn’t mind having Oscar! Matt sent us pictures and videos regularly so while we were away on holiday, we had a peace of mind that our dog was in very good hands. I would recommend Ruffles without any hesitation at all! Our very lively, strong and intelligent 2 & a half year old black Labrador Ace stayed with Matt for a week in August for the first time. Matt is a very kind and calm person with a lovely home in a fabulous location. On our meet and greet visit, Ace immediately took to Matt and I could see that he would be very well looked after. His love for dogs is very evident and I was confident that he would care for my boy like his own. Matt sent us regular updates and fantastic photos of their walks and play at home with lots of reassurance that Ace had settled in well. When we picked him up Acecwas very happy, confident and looked well fed and content. We immediately re- booked with Matt to look after Ace for our next trip and would 100% recommend Ruffles. Thanks Matt !
