After working late, in Chatham this evening I spotted Royal Ruby on my way home. I’m gutted I don’t live nearer. The food was unreal! Full of flavour and by far the best Indian takeaway my wife and I have had. If you live in the area I’d absolutely recommend.

After a good few weeks of personal crisis decided to try..after a very long time..to find a decent indian takeaway . So many locally just chuck chilli into gravy thats the same for all dishes. Just more or less chilli. Royal ruby has delivered the best food i have had in at least the last ten years. Delivered in half hour not one hour. Food red hot. Keema nans soft and stuffed full.chicken kashmiri and jalfezi meat marinated and falling apart. Sag aloo..perfect. spiced vegetables awesome.a new one on me as well. Onion bajji crisp outside soft and moist inside. Poppadoms perfect. If a restaurant cannot get the poppadoms right...then leave! Royal ruby..highly commended. Chef.. your food is top draw! Lovely delivery lady and on top of that 20 percent discount!. All in all best 27 pound spent in years on food. My faith in indian cuisine being cooked with flavour and spices correctly used has been restored. Both myself and wife have eaten the lot! And went back for second helpings..simply could not save it. First time ordering. Food was full of flavour, amazing portion size. Perfect temperature. New to area and found our new Indian takeaway. Slight delay in arrival but understandably busy night with lots of orders. A++++++

Although the delivery was late on Uber eats ,I rang the restaurant the young sounding lad was very polite and helpful in explaining and chasing my order from checking it had left kitchen and ringing driver to see on route .this helpful service was my reason for review .so hope u get a thanks. I only ordered a small meal for one order but this was enough for 2 of us to share as wasn't too hungry but fancied a curry for less than £15 and this meal was more than enough and very tasty.

I had amazing dinner tonight! The food today from the Royal Ruby was excellent taste like proper Indian Punjabi food. Recommended the starter Crisp Kale Chatt and the dinner dish Punjabi Butter Chicken!!!
