I am a local in the community with 15+ years experience in the trade working for various garages including main dealer experience. I had the opportunity to open in my local village of Highweek taking over an old unit in what used to be Highweek Garage. I brought the unit up to date with a complete refit with all new state of the art equipment to cover all your vehicles needs in house and a fresh modern look to complete your high end garage experience. At RMechanics my aim is to offer you a reliable garage service. With a friendly one to one relationship with your mechanic, you will get an honest and fair experience. The end goal is for you to have a safe and reliable vehicle without paying main dealer prices and for you to feel happy and confident with the experiences we have together. I am continuing to build the business as things in the motor trade are drastically changing and technologies are ever advancing and I aim to keep moving forward alongside these advancements. I have recently completed a Hybrid and EV training course to allow me to safely work on all new EV and Hybrid vehicles.

Had previously popped in to see Andy a couple of times regarding an engine management light and have just taken my car in for its first service at Rmechanics. Very honest about the requirements needed (I was expecting a major service but due to mileage covered, just a cheaper minor service was required) and very reliable too. Mostly though, I just like his dog :)

Very professional helpful excellent mechanic at a fair price . Having just had Mot done he took the time to talk about what needed to be done now and in the future so you get the best out of your car rather then just hitting you with a bill .

Lovely mechanic very kind and friendly. Amazing at what he does. Managed to change my whole gearbox and find a new one with less then 48 hours to do it. Car was very noisy before taking it to Andy now it drives like a dream. Thank you for everything Andy and for making my holiday less stressful.
