Sadly, our lovely Mum has recently passed away, but she was a resident of Ridgeway Manor for nearly a year. During that time, Mum was very happy and content. She was very well cared for and always looked nice when we visited, hair done, nails nicely manicured and polished. Mum always liked to look her best! The staff are lovely, and we were always made welcome and they became very dear to our mother. Mum loved her meals and said they were 'just like home'. When I visited, there always seemed to be something going on for those who wanted to be involved.There is an excellent lady who organises activities and entertainment. The staff and management have been going above and beyond during the Corona virus pandemic, and have kept the residents safe and well. I would like to thank them all so much for everything they did for our Mum.

My Father in Law, has been in this exceptional Care Home for 15 months. I visit the home 3 or 4 times a week at different times if the day. I can without doubt...recommend this home to anyone who has come to the time in life, when more ...or total help is needed. The management and staff are fantastic with my Father in Law .....and every other person who stays there. As his needs have increased over this period, the whole team work together in providing him with the best care and attention possible. The dedicated staff .... most of which have worked there for years work tirelessly every day, in not only looking after everyone .... but they entertain ... and encourage them to join in with all of the daily activities.

I'm afraid I have to agree with another reviewer. The actual care staff are lovely but the manager is rude and officious. If you want somewhere for a few days respite care then fair enough but long term is not advisable.

what a wonderful place , my grandad has lived here for a good few months now and he loves it , every time I visit I am made very welcome by the staff and management , They have lots of activities going on for the residents and from what iv seen they love it, The communication between the staff and family's is great and I am so grateful that they take such good care of my grandad.

My mum has stayed at ridgeway manor a few times for respite care and we have always had first class care. I looked at a number of care homes in and around oxted and ridgeway was not only the most welcoming but also one of the most affordable too. Staff are friendly, warm and always take time and treat residents as individuals and with warmth and respect. When the time comes for my parents to move into residential care full time, ridgeway manor will be my first choice.
