Ransley Kennels
We are a family run luxury boarding kennels and cattery on the outskirts of the village of Mersham near Ashford in Kent. With our luxury kennels & facilities we aim to be the premier boarding establishment for dogs and cats in Kent. We are located just 2 minutes from Junction 10 of the M20 and ideally situated for short trips across the channel.
Being a small family run business, all our boarders receive our personal attention.
Our kennels and cattery are run to an exceptionally high standard providing clean and comfortable accommodation for your pets, which is inspected and licensed by Ashford Borough Council.
All our accommodation is individually heated to ensure the comfort of your pet and we also provide a bed and a piece of vet bed fleece to keep your pets warm and dry. However, a small clean piece of your pet’s favourite bedding and/or a toy will help your pet to feel at home during his or her stay with us.
All kennels and pens are provided with individual external covered exercise runs.
For your own peace of mind our vet is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week and all boarders in our charge are insured with Pet Plan at no extra cost.
If you are unable to transport your pets to us we are also able to offer a collection and delivery service.

Janette Morrissey5 StarI boarded my little dog at these kennels for the first time last week after the kennels I use to use closed down.
Stuart and his team were wonderful and could not fault the care they gave my dog. They also were willing to administer eye drops for her as she scratched her eye just before we were going away. First class service and my dog was very happy. Would definitely use again.Friday 1st April 2022
Jackie Harding5 StarIst used this place in January as an emergency for a dog due to owner having to be hospitalised Stuart very kindly picked dog up & returned her when owner was home from hospital & although the dog had never been in kennels she thoroughly enjoyed it so last month we put our cat there for week & he enjoyed it too will be using this place from now onFriday 17th June 2022
Katie Crinall1 StarI visited these kennels and was initially impressed, I liked the set up and spoke to the lady that showed me round and advised I had an anxious dog that can show signs of aggression. She assured me this wasn't a problem and that she had seen it all. Out of the three I viewed I chose Ransley kennels to book. A few days before booking I called the kennels to ask whether to bring him in with a muzzle on, I was told if he was this bad they would not take him and that when I come to drop him off I needed to stay for 15mins and if they didn't get on with him I wouldn't be able to leave him there! With a holiday booking in place this was not what I wanted to hear. I then called them back the next day to see if I could take him up there to meet the day before so if there was any issues I still had 24 hours to sort something else out, I left a voicemail to that effect and tried to call multiple times with no answer or call back. I then booked another kennels and haven't heard from Ransley since! After all my research and shared concerns on the visit I wouldn't recommend Ransley for anxious dogs and there customer service leaves a lot to be desired!Monday 9th May 2022
