R & K Robinson

Company partner Richard Robinson joined his first print company, The Formprint Group based in Halesowen in the West Midlands, in 1978. He worked extremely hard and was very successful in moving Formprint towards a print management approach by outsourcing larger print jobs to trade houses. This was a totally new approach for Formprint and by 1983 the company had rapidly increased its annual turnover to £4 million. Richard was appointed Managing Director at Formprint, a role he held for nearly a decade until he decided he needed a new challenge. In 1995, with the vast experience he had gained within all aspects of the printing industry at Formprint, he decided to start his own print management business along with his son Ian. R & K Robinson was formed and initially commenced trading in Birmingham. Over the first few years, we focussed largely on supplying bespoke continuous stationery which to this day is still a core product.

As the business became more established and technology reduced the cost of full-colour printing we started to increase the range of printed stationery products that we supply. In 2006 we relocated from Birmingham to Stourport on Severn in Worcestershire and in 2007 our first website was created with further development of it over the next few years. 2019 was an exciting year for R & K Robinson with the creation of a new logo and stationery and a brand new website to better reflect the company that we have become and the print and design services and products that we now offer. Now in our 26th year of business, we look forward to supplying our valued customers with quality printed stationery for many years to come.
