In a nice spot and good sized pitches but let down by being scruffy and unkempt. Scratched new van on way in due to overgrown bushes at entrance that could have been cut back with a little effort by the owner. Bin overflowing when arrived despite it being before the weekend and the site empty at that point. Shower block was not in use which I understand has been the case for some time yet this was not advised when booking. I assumed there would be max 5 vans as a Certified site but there were at least 20 vans on site by Saturday night. Disappointed as it has the opportunity to be a nice site.

Tucked away camping and caravan site. It has a small toilet block with small wash basins and three toilets but no showers or dishwashing facilities more suited for self contained vans and caravans. The shower bloom looks like a long term repair. Camping field well kept. With some electric Very basic site but in Cumbria peaceful. There is a footpath cutting across field to get to local pub the Farm House.

Nice friendly owners refurb about to start. Great place for dogs/walking. Pebble beach in walking distance.
