A Litte About Me
My inspiration for Positive Touch comes from several places.
The first was my work as an Occupational Therapist. I love working with and supporting people. Occupational Therapy is about empowering people to overcome physical and psychological difficulties by working with what is important to them. Occupational Therapy taught me the importance of the mind, body connection. Whether it was physically rehabilitating someone or working in mental health, progress always improved when the mind and body were aligned and in balance. It underpins how I view the world and everything I do.
My desire to bring the benefits of massage to a wider range of clients led me to specialise in hydrotherm massage. Hydrotherm massage is a three-dimensional, warm massage, where you remain face up throughout. The unique positioning, the hydrotherm system and a fully hydraulic bed, enables physical barriers to be overcome. It is loved by many. It is perfect for pregnancy massage, people with limited mobility, physical disabilities, stable health conditions such as cancer and for those who cannot lie on their front. You can find more information about this in my services section.
When I’m not massaging or doing facial treatments, I can be found sharing my passion educating people about the benefits of natural, clean skincare and doing Tropic pampers. I absolutely love this company and its ethos. I joined Tropic in February 2020 as it was important to me that I used natural products on my client’s skin. Little did I know that Tropic would become my lifeline over 2020. I now have a growing team of ambassadors, have achieved several trips abroad and it fits beautifully with my treatments.
My final inspiration stems from becoming a mother, wife, and business owner. Life can be relentless. My job reminds me and others that you were someone before you became a parent and that person matters, it’s so important to make time for ourselves.
