Plug in Solar have published an incredibly detailed knowledge base for the DIY installer on their website. This expertise is also reflected in the comprehensive document pack supplied with my small 'off the shelf' grid tied system. The quality of these resources meant that I genuinely had all the information I needed to get my system up and running. Their keen pricing, quality (certified) equipment and willingness to share knowledge and advice for the benefit of all is unique in my experience and is why I will be a repeat customer.

Fantastic support and service from Plugin Solar. The most helpful Solar supplier we contacted when we were looking to add solar panels to our home office. Nothing was too much trouble and they were a wealth of knowledge to help us get everything we needed to complete our project. Really good company. Mark is very knowledgeable and helpful without being at all pushy, and keeps you well informed of order delivery expectations in the current climate of scare stock supply. I started with a small set of PVs on my garage roof and have since placed 3 more orders with them to expand my system onto my main roof and add battery storage. Would use again without hesitation.

Delighted with all aspects of using Plug-In as my supplier. Mark was knowledgeable, honest and thorough in his advice throughout. He always answered my queries promptly, politely and comprehensively. I really felt he had my back. Overall very professional. We ran through all possible options and came up with a bespoke package for my needs. This was so comprehensive that I barely needed to spend 2% more for a few detail / installation parts. That was great as often you think you've spend all that you needed to on a kit, only to find an endless list of 'this and that' still required: not the case here at all. Now installed, the system is exceeding all my expectations and that despite only just being in April. All supplied parts were of excellent quality and perform as they should. Nothing was short changed either: plenty of all fittings, wiring lengths etc. Nothing needed upgrading. Overall I'm thrilled, and very pleased I chose Mark at Plug-In Solar. A couple of general tips: I tried to cheat by using an existing phone line to my garage (where the system is) for data, but had issues. Did a new routing with CAT 6 data cable (5 is recommended, 6 simply exceeds the standard) and all was well. The other thing to be aware of is the G98 registration (required) with my network supplier was very clunky, so double and triple check all details or your application will be returned. Not a Plug-In issue at all, but just something to be aware of. Now all approved!
