Visited this business further to a MOT failure and the need for two new tyres for my BMW. Choose this business as it was recommended to me and I had read the overall good reviews. I had also prior to going there got prices from other local Bicester tyre companies. I was greeted as soon as I arrived, had the price’s explained ( very competitive with my previous enquiries as mentioned), had them fitted there and then. Good price fast efficient service so just as I’d want faultless.

First time I’ve used Phillips tyres and the experience wasn’t great to be honest. If you don’t want damaged alloys, avoid. Seems to be a common theme within the reviews, I wish I had looked on here before going. Tyres were fitted quickly which was nice but upon getting into my van to drive out of the depot I noticed the tyre pressure monitoring warning on. I got out and told one of the staff that the tyre pressure monitoring was on. I was told I just need to reset it because the tyres have been off, odd I thought as I know my van pretty well and that’s not the case normally. Anyway I got in the van and drove off, after a mile up the road the system recorded the pressures and I could then see the two rear tyres that were replaced were under inflated hence the warning showing, nothing to do with resetting the system. I really think something as basic as having the correct pressures put in the tyres should be expected. When I got home and inspected the alloys in more detail as now I had my doubts of the service provided, I noticed the diamond cut face of the near side rear alloy had been scratched during the fitting process. Not a positive experience unfortunately.

Absolutely horrible. I had two tyres replaced, their mechanics took no care of protecting the alloy wheels. The two alloys ended up chipped in the back in multiple places. If you value your car, stay away from them.
