J DUBWA5 StarPDG were deployed to undertake remedial works to both our front lawn and rear garden on a recently purchased new build home. Sadly the ground workers on the Taylor Wimpey development and former landscapers contracted had done an abysmal job of sufficient soil/earth preparation and not cleared any debris from site, such as hardcore, timber off-cuts etc. The result was terrible lawns, with shallow roots, which were either water saturated due to inadequate top-soil or dead patches. PDG were quick to assess the problems and set about remedying it. All old turf removed and all earth dug/rotavated at least 300mm and backfilled with soil conditioner & sharp-sand mix to improve the clay earth. A further layer of quality top soil and all turf relayed to leave a neat/tidy/level garden/lawns. Very impressed with the communication and work from team at site. As the old saying goes, do it right the first time round. PDG are highly recommended.Thursday 19th November 2020
