Pawsitive Grooming

 At Pawsitive Grooming, I have been grooming the dogs of families in my local area for over 3 years.  My aim is to provide a calm and positive  experience for your pet.  If your pet needs extra time and patience  that's exactly what they will be given.  With over 20 years experience  in animal handling and care I believe that patience, care and  understanding is vital for a happy and calm experience for any animal.     Care and comfort matter to me as much as it matters to you and your pets. When your Pet is with me, I don’t want you to have the slightest worry – though I am sure your treasured companions will stay in your thoughts. My  personalized care includes immediate  updates on care and services.  You’ll never see a pets smile so big as when their mums and dads come to  collect them.  After a well earned or needed groom or bath​.  I am always prepared for any dog's needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and care is my priority and I strive to provide a service I would want my own pets to receive (pictured).  I am approachable and welcome feedback to improve my service.  Now I do not do face packs, wraps or any fancy human sounding treatments as I think they are a con. But I do make sure that, even though they might not enjoy the act of bathing or drying etc, they have a 'Pawsitive' experience with reasurance and play. Wether it is physical contact (I get wet!!) or a good play etc in the garden after.  I have a couple of dogs that come to me, who are so scared of people except their owners.  So I let the owners use my equipment etc to perform a groom that is necessary for their pet to be healthy. I am on hand if needed and provide help and support.  The groom might not be the neatest, but it will be the calmest possible!!

Just been to this amazing groomer, I sat for around 2 hours for my poodles 2nd groom. As I usually do it at home. This lady has no experience in show poodle cuts. But she did amazing! You’d show her a photo of what you want and she does the exact copy! She was stern but showed so much love towards my poodle that he was such a good boy. Watching those two made me smile. So for anyone who is struggling to find a groomer for their show poodle. Kelly is highly recommended! (Not amazing photos) Rupert is 6 months so this cut is a template his hair needs to be 3x as long! But she walked me through on what needs growing. And if I didn’t like something she asked what I wanted changed and she’ll happily do it for me. She really is a star!

I paid for a full groom, when I collected my dog his claws hadn't been cut and he still had fur between the paws this groomer took around 30/40 minutes to groom my dog when a groomer salon would take around 2 hours

Took my shih Tzu here after a bad experience elsewhere and she came out not only looking lovely but also very relaxed and calm, will definitely be a regular customer of Pawsitive Grooming.

Kelly is amazing with my elderly pooch who pretty much doesn't like any part of grooming. However, every time my little dog comes out from her grooming session she looks gorgeous and has a real spring in her paws😄😍💕 Thank you Kelly xx
