WELCOME
I'm Lara, the happy owner of Pawfect Pals Essex. After a long career as a Paramedic I set up my dog boarding, walking & pet feeding business in April 2016.
I'm a qualified pet first aider and so is my partner Ian.
Your dogs live with us in our spacious and comfy home, not in cages or kennels.
I'm flexible with drop off times including early mornings.
I use a secure & comfortable doggy van with safety cages & only accept vaccinated dogs.
Pawfect Pals Essex has achieved a 5 star License for Activities Involving Animals from Basildon Borough Council.

Stephen Bewers5 StarLara looked after our boy for us whilst we were getting married in October and she was brilliant from start to finish. She took great care of him, settling him in the day before and sending us lots of photos of his exciting time with her, Ian and the other dogs. On the wedding day itself, Lara took him on a nice long walk in the morning to burn off some of his bouncy 18-month old energy before getting him ready for the chaperone who was bringing him to the wedding, and then looking after him when returned to her for the night. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy! Henry had a great time with Lara and I would highly recommend her.Monday 1st November 2021
Chris Owers5 StarI can't recommend Lara highly enough. I can relax and enjoy myself when my dog is spending time with Lara, be iit on a walk or a one night stay, or a two week holiday. Lara has got to know my dog well and let's herself into my home if I am not here. I find Lara trustworthy and honest and i do believe my dog is being cared for and interacted with, when I'm away from her. A very happy dog and dog owner.Monday 2nd August 2021
Annette Murray5 StarI cannot recommend Pawfect Pals Essex enough. Reliable, helpful, professional, great communications and trustworthy. I even received daily pictures showing our dog 🐕 having the best time.

James Green5 StarWe have used Lara three times now for our very spoilt dogs - an elderly Dobermann and an excitable Cocker Spaniel. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Neither of our dogs have been in kennels before so we liked the idea of Lara having them at home. The dogs love their holidays with Lara and always come back happy. Love the way Lara sends daily updates with pics to keep your mind at rest. Lara is always really helpful when things don’t go to plan (delayed flights etc) and has driven our dogs home which was a great help. Would thoroughly recommend.Wednesday 29th May 2019
