Our premier delivery service is available nationwide. Either reserve an advance slot up to 90 days in advance or book next day delivery before 14:00. Our cakes are baked, frozen and then packed with dry ice to protect their intricate designs, as well as ensuring they taste as fresh as possible. Our UK patisseries are now open for a full dine-in experience! Serving pastries, baguettes and croque monsieur throughout the day alongside our famous cakes & gateaux and speciality coffee. Or why not spoil your friends with an indulgent afternoon tea? Patisserie Valerie all started with Theophile Vermeirsch (Theo) who was born in Antwerp in 1898. He first came to London with his family as refugees from Belgium in the First World War. During this time, he worked as a pastry chef. The family returned to Belgium some time in 1918 and in 1922 he married Esther Van Gyseghem, born in 1900 in Oostende. Together they returned to London and opened a Belgian patisserie in 1926 on the corner of Dean Street and Old Compton Street in London’s Soho and called it "Patisserie Valerie”.

Lovely delayed treat for my mum for Mother's day. The tea-for-two we had was very tasty and surprisingly filling. Re-fillable coffee was an absolute boon. My daughter came along too and her BLT was great. All the cakes (on the tea and my daughter's Red Velvet) were delightful. Recommended by us if this is what you're looking for.

I went here for my first date a couple years ago with my partner. The restaurant is usually fairly quiet and romantic. This place is very special to me as we go back every couple of months to react our first date. It's a great place to have tea and talk about what our future will hold whilst the rest of Canterbury busies by.

Came in just under 20 minutes before they close for a flat white takeaway I was charged and had to wait 5 minutes to be told by the manager that they’ve “already cleaned the coffee machine and can’t make anymore coffee because they’ve used the chemicals” I know that’s a lie I worked in a coffee shop for 3 years. You can use the machine you just need to flush the coffee through a couple of times before use. They said they wasn’t expecting anymore customers because of the weather as it was raining. But they still had more than 15 minutes left of service. From my own experience I always kept one side of my coffee machine open until the end of the day. I wouldn’t mind if I had been told as I came in but I wasn’t and I was charged for the drink. I did get a refund after waiting but I did get a refund. I know it can be frustrating when people come in last minute but it’s your job to serve them. I don’t normally complain and I feel bad doing so but it’s just not fair or right I completely wasted my time. All because they wanted to finish early. I just hope they read this comment and learn for next time. This isn’t great customer service.

My partner and I had enough time to stop by for coffee and a light snack - in this case toasted tea cake and a ham and cheese croissant. The tea and coffee arrived within 10 minutes but we waited over 1/2 hour for the food. When we queried it we were told 'well, the food has to be taken from the front of house counter to the kitchen, then toasted and then brought from the kitchen to our table. Surely that's what table service means?? We explained we would be out of car park time if they couldn't speed up. When the food arrived, the croissant was burnt on top but the ham and cheese were cold. For £6 this was not acceptable. We wish we had cancelled the BBC is by order and left as we then had to scurry back to the free car park (for 2 hours) not knowing if we will end up with an expensive parking ticket!! We are age 73 so all in all not a very relaxing visit. Will not go back or recommend. Please sort out your kitchen management and also manage customers' expectations.

Service was the worst I have ever had it looked like she was more interested in chatting so bloke up than serving her customers . I got my order in 3 parts which was terrible even some other woman who came ages after us got her order before me and my partner very not happy wont go back there again
