The children loved painting gifts for each other and I got a little into it also. Great if its raining or to hot in the sun. Highly recommended

Little bit small inside and the items for painting are very fragile prior to firing. Just be aware with little ones.

Paint pot. We went for a caravan last spring break at Croyde bay. I won’t forget that was the time when storm Dudley and eunice arrived. Thank God we’re out at that area before the storms hit the place. Back to the topic. During our stay in the caravan, we decided to go out and visit the town area. While walking around we pass this paint shop (paint pot) and My kids wants to go inside. The Place was quiet that time because it’s not school holiday yet for North Devon (a week after) the lady who runs the shop was very helpful and nice. If you’re a first timer on painting, don’t worry she will help you or other wise you ask her. Just remember you must finished your painting with in 1 hour and a half. The place is well set up, the paints has a colour coded numbers so you won’t forget and you’ll avoid messing your art work. There’s a toilet inside the shop. And you can order hot drinks while you wait for your kids to finish there painting pot or figurines. And also if you are busy and can’t wait for your painting pots to dry and furness finished you can send your painting pots by post. They will send it to your address. postage cost is paid separately. I recommend this place specially if the weather does not permit you to go to the beach. And kids will enjoy it. If you park in British surfing museum, it’s just 5 mins walk to painting pot.

Great experience for the kids. Everything you need there and they will fire your item and send on to you if you aren't able to come back to collect. My only negative is that I wish we'd had more support from the staff as we only spotted the colour chart half way through.
