What a gem of a place, there's no need to buy new stereo equipment.. buy second hand or get it repaired.. great service and really knowledgeable. Fixed price of £45 for most repairs, depending on the job. Got some old wharfedale speakers repaired and now work perfectly, saved me £100's.

Excellent customer service! I called about a TV repair which I was quoted £180 to fix. Despite not fixing TVs anymore they were super helpful and went through the diagnostics and told me to order a new cable. The new cable worked a treat and despite not actually using these guys they offered good insight, were patient and helped me out over the phone for nothing in return.

Recently dropped in a 38 year old hifi amplifier with which I really don't want to part company. Intermittent loss of signal on one channel. After some professional attention from Oxford Powershop I now have my music back. What's not to like? This is a germ of a place, the likes of which have largely and sadly disappeared over the last few decades. Their pricing is very reasonable, the quality of work is superb, and on top of this they're a friendly bunch. Recommended 150%.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Prepared to be scoffed at when you take in an item. Zero interest in repairing valuable items. I got told to 'just buy a new one'. Not just useless, but really rude. I would definitely avoid at all costs.
