We had a very enjoyable lunch. The pizzas were homemade and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. The gentleman behind the bar made my family feel very welcome. Beautiful views, and my daughter loved the playground, which has equipment suitable for toddlers and older children. Would definitely visit again.

Despite booking a table for 6 people we had to wait over an hour for our food, and it wasn't even busy. The food when it eventually arrived was straight from the freezer. We use to visit here years ago, then the food was good and plentiful. Nothing had changed, the decor was the same, the sticky carpet and tables were the same. The only thing that had changed was the quality, quantity and value of the food and the staff who all looked about 15 years old and didn't have a clue. There appeared to be no one in charge. We won't be going back.

Delicious food, good sized portions, a little bit of a wait but worth it. The sauteed chicken breast was the best! Children's chicken nuggets were made of "real chicken chunks" as my daughter called it rather than the frozen stuff. Quick and friendly bar service. Great value. They also sell fresh eggs and essentials, handy for local holiday makers. Lovely outside area with views and a play area for children.

Lovely pub with wonderful food. The pub was clean, staff were friendly and polite, bonus of having a play area outside for the children too. Definitely recommend a visit.

Good selection of food and a nice atmosphere. Interesting old railway station. Good service, but portions were far too much for moderate appetites
