Notcutts was founded in 1897 by a budding horticulturalist of the Notcutt family, Roger Crompton Notcutt. The business has remained in the family ever since and the values that helped shape what we know and love about Notcutts are still at the heart of what we do today.

We came in for breakfast on our way up on holiday, we waited over 40 minutes for our food by the time we got it, it was cold and the sausages were missing it wasn’t that busy either so rather confused as to why they need to wait 40 mins before sending the food out

Worst visit ever, cafe staff miserable most the person said was yes when I asked a question, no hello or thank you. Then we went to the till to pay for some plants, 4 tills open but none of the staff knew what they were doing so staff jumping between till to try and help each other, after 20 minutes we put the basket down and left with nothing, along with a few people.

A pleasant couple of hours spent on a Bank Holiday dreaming of garden projects that will probably not see the light of day, but nevertheless a pleasant afternoon with a very agreeable cuppa and cake at the end of it.

This was a convenient break point on a 120 mile journey to Worcester. We used to enjoy their Bagshot branch in years past, but sadly they sold out to a large Waitrose! We had a drink and cheese scone, based on our previous experience, and we're not disappointed. Plenty of parking, and a good sized Garden Centre, stocking the traditional wide range of plants and furniture for the garden, as well as fancy goods. It was a pleasant surprise to find another Notcutts after all this time.
