Normanhurst is a small school with a big vision. It’s a school where pupils of all abilities, aptitudes and social backgrounds thrive and achieve.

Our community is based upon high expectations of learning and behaviour is underpinned by excellent pastoral care. It is an honour to lead Normanhurst School. The reasons are instantly apparent when you visit and observe school life. Pupils enjoy being part of this school; they want to achieve, aim high and work with endeavour and application.

Normanhurst School sees every pupil as an individual with talents, and values the contribution of each one, whether it is in academic excellence, artistic flair, musical ability, sporting prowess or community spirit. Our aim is that every pupil appreciates their value both within the school and in the world beyond. We aim to provide our pupils with a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity for the wider world.

My son started preschool here when he was 2.5 years old. The teachers have been fantastic especially Mrs Fisher and Miss Buggins. My son is so happy at this school and he loves his teachers. I couldn’t encourage parents enough to send their toddler here for preschool. Thank you to all at Normanhurst who made our experience wonderful with our first child.

I'm thinking about withdrawing my children from this school. My Daughter has witnessed an ongoing bullying at school for the past year. For the bullying to occur more than once that it became ongoing, it shows the school didn't know about it or care enough to get involved. After paying such amount of money every year, I expected better service from them. I am telling anyone who is interested in sending their children to Normanhurst that they should consider other independent school which has better facilities and services for the amount of money you are paying.

Excellent school. Loving Teachers. Any mention of rodent issues is either old or nonsense.

AVOID! This school has an underlying bulling problem, issues are NOT dealt with effectively. There was a rat problem which then affected school dinners being served.
