Martin Elkins3 StarA little bit disappointed with my visit to the New Dawn Inn.
Had dinner with my brother and sister in law.
First course was OK but the main course was disappointing, pan fried sea bass without crispy skin very soggy and no texture, pudding was OK.
Also not impressed with the front of house staff.
We visited the restaurant about one year ago and it was better then.
All in all not a memorable experience.

Stephanie James5 StarThoroughly enjoyed our visit today. The Manager and staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was superb( slow cooked lamb, and the Roast chicken) were delicious. Highly recommend. Oh, and dog friendly even better 😀Tuesday 11th October 2022
Steve Barnard5 StarWhat a wonderful place. Great staff, great food. Went for Sunday lunch and from start to finish all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Sunday menu has a good range remembering it is Sunday lunch so it is restricted but still more than enough choice for everyone. And we had a fussy eater and they still had food to choose on the menu. Nice atmosphere and efficient service. Really pleased with our lunch. Super dessert menu. And great vfm.

Terry Coleman5 StarNice pub restaurant with friendly staff. Not particularly hungry & on diets so just ordered 3 starters between 2 of us. Very good quality & well tasty. Looking at mains, prices seemed a little high for our budget however, everyone is aware now of rising costs of everything &, if quality matches starters, then probably worth it.
Recently decorated in a modern style but not overdone & obviously resisted temptation to go for bland, minimalist look.Friday 9th September 2022
Caroline Mace5 StarI have a mobility disability, so I was really pleased to see that there is level access to it, it's level inside and it's disabled toilet facility is one of the best that I've come across. If there could be an improvement anywhere, I'd say how about marking some disabled parking spaces near the front door please? If there are, then apologies but I didn't see them because cars were parked there. If so, then how about providing a few more please?
