Who am I?
Hi, my name is Neil and I specialise in capturing all the fun, love & emotion of one of the most magical days of your life. Your wedding day.
Having photographed over 700 weddings I come with experience, knowledge and a smile. I go above and beyond not just to give you images that will help you relive your day, but also to help keep you calm and relaxed on the day. For me, part of my job is to help you enjoy your special day.
The opportunity to capture such an important day in someone’s life and provide them with images that will make them laugh, cry and relive all those special moments for years to come is something so satisfying I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Wedding photography has taken me from local venues in Suffolk and East Anglia, to Scotland, Liverpool, South Wales, Southampton and even as far as the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean for weddings in Mexico and Jamaica. On this website you will find testimonials from many clients, online albums and links to my social media pages to help give you in idea of my style and how I work.
All my full day booking come with the option of a FREE pre-wedding photoshoot. This is a great way to relax any nerves you have about your wedding day photos. It’s also a chance to get to know me as your photographer and for us to have a final run through the day.

James Bowles5 StarA huge thank you to Neil Baxter, for his beautiful work photographing our wedding day. We have recently returned back from our honeymoon and coming home to find our official wedding photos waiting for us, was a wonderful way to finish off our holiday.
There are so many stunning photos in the complete album, showing off Neil’s ability to capture a wide variety of photographic styles, both natural and more choreographed shots, across both photos of us as a couple, small groups and larger family group shots. The end result is an absolutely fantastic wedding album, which has perfectly captured all the wonderful moments and emotions from our special day.
Neil was an absolute pleasure to work with, both in the planning and run up to our wedding, as well as on the day itself. Neil met with us at our chosen venue, one he hadn’t worked at before and so wanted to not only meet with us to outline his gallery of work and his photography style, but also give us plenty of ideas of the photography that we could do on the day at the venue. It gave us a great sense of where some of the group shots would be best taken on the day itself.
As part of the package, Neil also did our engagement photo shoot prior to the wedding, and this as well was a lovely experience. Neil had a full range of his own ideas and styles for engagement shots that would look great, with different back drops and settings. But at the same time, Neil listened to all our ideas and spent lots of time with us doing whatever photo ideas we had; different poses, different natural shots, giving us plenty of time and never rushing us and never making us feel as though we didn’t have time to try extra ideas.
It was a real pleasure for us to work with Neil; he was an absolute professional, punctual, responsive and in general just a lovely guy. We’d very happily recommend Neil to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

I'm so pleased we chose you for our wedding photography, we had many nice compliments from our friends and family that met you. You kept us both calm on the day, you were professional but with a personal touch It was like having a good friend capture our special day, that's how relaxed we felt (even if I did lose the rings until the last minute) haha!
We're so incredibly pleased with all of our photo's! Neil did the most fantastic job!! Nothing was too much trouble, he gave us gentle direction when we were standing awkwardly, laughed with us when we were being silly, got on perfectly with all our family and friends. The pre-wedding shoot was great because it made us feel comfortable around him which is reflected in our wedding day photos. He didn't miss a single shot that we asked for, and captured so many natural ones too! He ran around all day bless him, and kept a smile on his face the whole time.
