Each Friday night as a child, I used to take my Mum's wicker basket and Pyrex dish to fetch the family fish and chips on from our local "Chippie" in Bolton. We loved our fish and chips and to this day, I have followed the same traditions taking first my daughter and now my 3 grandchildren for fish and chips meals.

I will travel a long way for great fish and chips.

At Nana Jan's, we all love our fish and chips and we expect your Nana Jan's meal will be one of the tastiest meals you will eat. Our fish is carefully chosen and each fillet is coated in our special recipe light crispy batter mix so you can enjoy a soft, moist, flaky fish with our golden homemade chips. Accompanied of course, with the side of your choice. Just like when my nana cooked for me, or when I cook for my grandchildren, our food is made with love. Since taking over Buckshaw Fishbar and relaunching it as Nana Jan's, our team has worked exceptionally hard to ensure that all our meals will be delicious and full of flavour - just like when your nana cooked for you. But excellent food doesn't just happen by accident and Nana Jan's commitment is to use the very best ingredients and very best techniques to deliver the very best fish and chips to you each and every time. To achieve this exceptional consistency and high quality, we have invited in and worked with, with true experts in the fish and chip field. This way we can ensure we are using industry leading and "best practice" cooking techniques so we can prepare and cook your meal consistently. In this way, you will enjoy tasty meals time after time.

Our ambition is to bring a variety of great tasting foods and meals to Buckshaw Village. However, we want to add a modern retailing twist.  We believe the Buckshaw Village deserves more than just great food. We would like to offer the very best customer service both in shop and for our deliveries but along with a great fun in store experience. `Whilst we have started with our traditional range of meals, we will broaden our menu in line with the resident's tastes through 2019.  We believe the Buckshaw community should expect and receive more when it wants to buy takeaway food. Nana Jan's is all about delivering great tasting food through a modern and outstanding retail experience using technology and people to make the whole food experience tasty, fun and different.
