Attended a wedding at Mytton Fold Lodge. Such a great place to tie the knot and celebrate afterwards! The weather was glorious and the ceremony held in the grounds outdoors, it was stunning. The afternoon and evening celebratiobs were held indoors, easily holding 70+ day guests and 100+ evening guests, with ease Staff were warm, professional and helpful. Wedding breakfast was very good and professionally presented. I am unable to comment on the hotel as I did not stay overnight. This is certainly one of the best wedding venues I have ever been to. Could not fault anything about the place or the staff. I will certainly recommend to others.

We've been twice over the Easter weekend and have been so impressed by the service. Chloe, the restaurant manager was so determined and passionate to make our experience enjoyable, it was a pair to see somebody enjoying their work so much. Will definitely frequent this place now often.

Warm, friendly, courteous and helpful staff welcome you. My room was very nice and reasonably priced If you get the chance, you should eat in the restaurant. I’ve stayed twice and I can honestly say that the food has been excellent both times - I’m amazed that no one seems to take advantage of it. I will always stay here now, even if it’s a bit out of my way..

We stayed at Mytton Fold Hotel during the Easter long weekend for 4 nights. We decided to go with their room + half board package which includes breakfast and £25 credit towards food per person for dinner each night. I'm always a bit wary of these types of room + board packages because the food quality tends to be lower but we chose this more out of convenience as we wanted to relax and not drive around too much. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. For breakfast there was a choice of full English breakfast as well as continental plus other warm options like Eggs Benedict. For dinner we tried a variety of items: for starters we tried the duck pate & scallops for mains we had the linguine with crab, scallops & prawns, monkfish, cod, roast chicken & fillet steak. Dessert we tried the cheesecake and black forest gateau. We also had lunch here twice including the chicken schnitzel (my favourite meal here), foot long hot dog and couscous salad with prawns. Because we wanted to dine with our dog we weren't able to eat in the restaurant itself but there was plenty of seating in the bar area with TVs and music which we also liked. We also dined outside in the grounds for lunch one day as it was nice and sunny - we really enjoyed that too. In terms of the accommodation itself, the hotel is modern, clean and well presented having gone through a renovation. Our room was one of three dog friendly rooms. We stayed in room 3. The room wasn't huge but comfortable and the staff made sure to provide our dog with a big bed and bowls. The bedroom itself has been refurbished with new interiors and a comfortable king sized bed. The rooms are well heated and our room had a door that opened on to the patio for easy access for our dog if needed. The bathroom however was original and older. It was well cleaned and the showerhead was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I'd stay the only thing to point out about our room was that as it's part of the older part of the hotel building you can hear any noise from someone walking upstairs or through the corridor. So it's definitely not soundproof. It wasn't a huge issue for us however as we were able to sleep regardless. The hotel grounds itself has plenty of space for our dog to run around which was ideal, as well as a golf course right next door and a event venue adjacent where there were two weddings on during our stay. They have plenty of parking so even though there was a lot of people it didn't make our stay unpleasant. The staff were all really wonderful. Friendly, attentive and helpful. Kudos to Patryk, and his team including Bethany, Abigail, Lauren, Katrina who arranged our stay and all the other staff for making our stay great. We'd highly recommend staying at Mytton Fold if you're in the area. We were very happy with our stay here and would definitely stay there again if we're back in the area.

Enjoyed an anniversary celebration here. Lovely venue and catered for all dietary requirements. The service staff were on top of teas and coffees and made the whole day very special for my grandparents who loved it! They also allowed us to bring our dog which was kind, he loved it too!
