Myriad is a plant room service business, focussing mainly on biomass systems but have the resources and expertise to properly maintain everything in your plant room.

Businesses need someone they can rely on to care for their heating systems and plant rooms and ensure system reliability, lower running costs and, partiularly for biomass with the RHI, limited downtime to ensure maximised financial returns.

Myriad currently provides service support to over 750 biomass installations across the UK.  We work directly for both end-users and facilities maintenance providers. Our service team has over 18 years' experience providing post-commissioning service and maintenance and our engineers have experience in a very wide range of boiler and heating system technologies.  Currently we service over 30 different boiler brands. Where do we cover?

Myriad cover the whole of the UK with employed engineers from Devon to Aberdeen. In addition to our own engineers our network of specialist subcontractors can provide additional support during very busy periods So you can be sure to be never left waiting too long for an engineer to visit.

How quickly can we attend?

Myriad always prioritise service customers for breakdowns and other urgent works. If you do have a breakdown, we will delay service and low priority visits to ensure all our customers are kept running. We will guarantee a response as fast as possible which is very important if you are losing RHI because of a boiler breakdown.

If the servicing schedule is not kept up to date then your boiler will perform sub-optimally and cause operational problems and unnecessary repair costs.  Biomass systems that are not serviced may also not be compliant with the RHI and could cause the lucrative RHI tariff to be lost.

BOILER REPLACEMENTS

We have completed many biomass boiler replacements in the last three years. The reasons for the replacements are quite varied but include:

-          failed heat exchanger due to poor water quality

-          clients wishing to upgrade to a better-quality boiler due to having too many breakdowns and ongoing unreliability issues

-          change of combustion chamber to handle more difficult fuels

The replacement process is often very simple, and we can usually utilise the existing fuel store and fuel transport equipment if it is serviceable and adequate for the clients fuel.

From start to finish we can typically complete the whole project within 6 to 8 weeks for boilers up to 1MW.
