Had their small Meal of fish and chips last Saturday 29th. The only downside of the meal was that there was a puddle of oil on the plate underneath the fish where whoever cooked the dish did not drain off the oil before serving. It was placed on grease proof paper but this did not prevent the oil soaking through that and forming a hole. Many tables were not cleared indicative of the lack of staff. To be honest the quality of the food in the cafe is not usually the issue (apart from sometimes the length of time it takes to come out of the kitchen) but the lack of staff is a massive issue. Only one poor bloke clearing the tables too.

I like the rejuvenated menu and it all looks a bit sleeker. Unfortunately price has gone up without food quality improving enough to reflect that. But the staff are all lovely so I'm keeping it at 4 stars not 3!
