Very tasty breakfast by the hosts - insider tip: pancakes. Otherwise, the annexe was unfortunately not what we are used to worldwide and from various accommodations in England: Cobwebs in the corners and in(!) the toaster, dead animals on the windowsills, ants on the ceiling, creepy-crawlies in the kitchen and a completely dirty, uncleaned fridge.... We were shocked how an extremely well rated accommodation could be so dingy. :o

Lovely place to stay, we stayed in the ‘ Annexe’ enough room for 2 and our dog Archie . Internet was spot on . Breakfast was ample , there was more if you wanted it . Cracking little spot off road parking and a 10 min walk along the river to the King Alfred . We will be back , Mark , Anne and Archie

Tina as always is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was great, I especially liked the blueberry pancakes , 😋. The room was spotless and the meal Tina had booked for us at the King Alfred, 10 minutes walk away, was excellent. We will be back 😊

Location is fantastic! The Annex is more than we hoped for. Spotless, extremely well equipped & a comfy bed! Tina was brilliant, more of a home from home than a couple.of days away! Breakfast was delicious...choice & quality was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, can't wait for the next visit!
