Moordale Motors specialise in the restoration and maintenance of Triumph cars. We excel at completing mechanical repairs to Triumphs of all models and ages.

Moordale Motors was founded in 1985 to specialise in the repair and restoration of Triumph cars. The idea was to try and keep as many of these wonderful old cars on the road and in as good a condition as possible.

We also specialise in servicing, welding, Crypton engine tuning and body work.We are also happy to complete work on other vehicles, old and new, British or Foreign.

We like to think that we give your car the same attention that you would wish if doing the repairs yourself

Dale and his team of classic car specialists have done a significant amount of work for me this past year. Their understanding of classic cars 'needing love' is reassuring and Dale works closely with owners to provide effective solutions and options to the problems we all face. His workman ship is exceptional and he does NOT cut corners. True, he's not the cheapest on the 'classic scene' but if you want the job done 'right', Dale and his team will not disappoint. Nice guys who seem to love their work but I wasn't overly impressed with the quality. Standard engine stuff was fine, but tuning carbs/timing all seemed a bit unsure, and although they had a fair amount of my cash they didn't solve the ruff running issues, which incidentally was fixed elsewhere in about 10 minutes by a mechanic who understands carbs.

Dale got my Herald running really well, checked over the car and fixed all the numerous issues very quickly and for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend:)
