I'm visiting from out of the country and every time I've been in, even just to look at what they have on offer, they've been NOTHING but the absolute best! I did eventually buy coat with them, mostly because of just how great they are. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for friendly service and great quality products.

Excellent store! Always offers on things you need. Bought all my equipment from this store. Outstanding value. Much better then online shopping, taking the fuss out of reposting things back as it won't fit. Personally I like to try and feel the fabric. The staff are always extremely polite & helpfull

Had the best service today from Adrian the store manager. I went in with my missus for some hiking boots and Adrian was really helpful in helping us select two sets of boots as we are visiting the beautiful Lake District for the first time. Being city dwellers from London we explained that we were about to hike up to Scafell Pike and Adrian helped us by explaining what type of fit makes a good boot, what materials used makes a good boot which help us immensely when deciding. My missus and I settled on two sets of Merrell boots which were on sale (£125 down to £95 each) and Adrian so kindly added a further discount at the till even though we had not discussed anything about it. I just want to say that our experience was amazing and the staff in this particular store are a credit to the business. My missus and I are also exempt from wearing face masks and the staff at the store were very understanding and made us feel most welcome and very comfortable during our visit. In other stores we sometimes get resistance and even face discrimination but at Millets in Whitehaven our experience could not have been better.
