This is the best care home in the whole region, in my opinion. They have looked after my mother for over three years wonderfully well, keeping her safe during the pandemic and at all times making her feel like a loved member of their family. They have a lovely location, good rooms, good food, and lots of variety in their activities, plus very caring and professional staff. I wouldn't be happy for my mum to be anywhere else.

WONDERFUL! My brother and I could not be happier with Starr Hills. My mother is so well looked after. All the carers are incredibly kind, thoughtful and efficient; all are aware of, and up-to-date with, her needs at all times. If a problem arises, it is dealt with immediately. The home is immaculately clean and fresh-smelling. The food is high quality, the menus varied and choices are always offered. The dining room is smart and elegant - more like a hotel restaurant than a care home. Spending time at Starr Hills as a visitor, you see everything that goes on. I often glimpse carers taking care of other residents. They are ALWAYS, without exception, patient, gentle and kind. Residents' individuality and personal dignity is always respected. We know that our mother is in the best possible hands, which is a great comfort to us living 200 miles away. We are SO thankful we found Starr Hills and grateful to ALL the staff. It is no wonder it has achieved Outstanding rating across the board.
