What is Extra Care Housing? Mayfields, Boston

Our Extra Care Housing consists of self-contained flats where you have your own tenancy agreement. As well as the rent there are charges which cover the maintenance of the communal areas, the provision of emergency alarms throughout the building and the communal facilities, which include a cinema room, lounges, laundry, a small shop, restaurant, and a garden. In addition, there are both care and catering staff on site as well as our staff.

Extra Care Housing is accommodation that provides you with a key to your own front door, it has been purpose built to meet as large a variety of physical. Each person’s physical abilities are very different, and it would be difficult to ensure that every detail within the accommodation has been accounted for. However, with equipment, or if adaptations are required, then a referral to the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy Team can be made to gain further advice and support with investigating this with you.
