It all went very smoothly from our point of view and your work force, particularly Mark, were very helpful and considerate. I forgot to say that they cleaned up well when they finished, which some contractors don’t. The carpenter finished the gate and shed door on Friday and again was helpful and we are very pleased with the work carried out. Professional from the start and the small touches like photos on the quote put my mind at ease that what I asked to be done was exactly what was being quoted. Jon & sam worked so hard from start to finish, very clean throughout and end result put a huge smile on my face. Would highly recommend to all. This is the third time I've used Macavis & we've been over the moon with the results each time. The latest project saw a rear extension built to accommodate a new dining room and then garden renovation. The team were fantastic & worked hard to ensure the project was finished by the due dates well as keeping the site clean & tidy... despite the ongoing build. they were also very helpful when it came to designing the garden &gave options & solutions the were both practical & cost-effective. I'd highly recommend the company & will be using them again if we decide to do any further work. John & his fantastic team stepped in and literally saved our business. They worked tirelessly to put right a disaster left by a previous building company. They worked with us to come up with what we wanted. Put everything right and saved us from losing our business during a pandemic. The works completed have been praised so much by our customers. Highly recommend. Totally first class builders merchants- I went to their Dover depot to pick up some ballast- they could supply 25Kg bags, one tonne bags , or pour loose into my trailer. I wanted loose, which was really easy - drive in, straight onto a weighbridge, then drive into the yard where they carefully load the trailer (the one I brought only takes 750Kg, so it was nice to see them loads slowly and carefully upto a safe limit) , and then drive back onto the weighbridge to get the weight of the load, before you pay. The staff were really friendly, helpful and professional, and I'd definitely recommend them! :)
