We work exclusively with local and independent producers who are as passionate about honest and human-made products as we are. This special care certainly shows and we have been voted Best Coffee Shop of the year 2016 at the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards and feature in the 2017 Guardian list of the 50 best breakfast places in the UK. Our Lynwood & Co cafes are at the centre of the community. We believe in generosity, sharing and giving back. We are avid contributors to local school fundraisers and charity events and make sure that the local Lechlade/Fairford and Carterton youth football club looks smart in their Lynwood kit. We also raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and support Mary’s meals though our ‘tap lunch box’ where one tap of £1.00 provides 5 children with lunch for a week. We opened our original cafe in the main square of the beautiful market town of Lechlade in 2015. Since then, we opened our sister cafes in Fairford, Burford, Carterton and most recently Cirencester . We are continuously looking for unique locations to open the next Lynwood & Co cafe near you. Lechlade's Market Place has been selling locally produced food since 1210 AD and we are very proud to continue this tradition in our flagship cafe on the square. In addition to our regular all-day menu, we serve sumptuous Saturday and Sunday brunches, and you can reserve our large community table for any gathering.  Our cafe in Fairford is the perfect location for an intimate and relaxing breakfast or lunch. Come and taste our famous home-baked cakes, sausage rolls and deliciously hot and melty grilled sandwiches whilst admiring the astonishing medieval stained-glass windows of St. Mary's church. Such is our reputation for great coffee, Lynwood & Co has partnered exclusively with Extract coffee roasters. The Bristol based company have been instrumental in delivering the very best in all things coffee to all our sites.Extract started from a humble garden shed in 2007 and now employ over 20 skilled roasters, technicians and training staff adding to their decade of experience as leading roasters in the UK. Is lovingly hand crafted in our bakery in Carterton using traditional sourdough slow fermentation methods which results in an easily digestible flavoursome loaf. We source our blend of organic flours from Shipton Mill in Tetbury and deliver fresh bread daily to be used on our menu and for retail sales Cutler & Bayliss are located a stone's throw away from our Lechlade cafe and have been supplying us with the freshest local meat since day one. This family-owned business is a true zero food mile supplier and shares our commitment to quality and community.  Look out for the ever smiling James who hand-delivers all of our meats - from the cured prime ham in our Croque Monsieurs to the succulent sausage meat in our sausage rolls.  Mayfield Free Range Eggs is the passion of three generations of an Oxfordshire farming family committed to providing the best care possible for their hens – roaming free on acres of lush, grassy fields, with plenty of space for natural hen behaviours such as dust bathing and foraging.  Bramleys wholesale in Cirencester is our exclusive greengrocer and also supplies our dairy products and dry goods. Bramleys have been locally sourcing and distributing the highest quality of goods to restaurants, cafe's and farm shops in the region for the last 30 years. Over the past 4 months we have been getting all our baristas to visit Extract coffee in Bristol to learn more about roasting, new equipment and why our coffee is so amazing.  Our head barista Harry will be uploading a video to the website in coming weeks to showcase the roastery and meet some of the guys.

Coffee was okay. Sausages roll looks nice at the counter but it was actually dry. I was disappointed for the size of the cup when you pay for nearly £3. I would say it’s half amount of you can normally get from cafes. When the sausage roll was served, it didn’t come with cutlery so I had to go to the counter but they gave me the disposable one.

Coffee was ok. We had a flat white which wasn’t overly extracted but lacked detail. The decor needs a bit of work it’s all quite dark.

It's an absolutely amazing place. I had a dirty chai, which was chai with a shot of espresso, and it was delightful. Then I tried the sourdough with marinated aubergine and feta, which was so delicious! So I went back for the loaf of bread. Highly recommended place. They've sell also local organic products, like milk, eggs and honey.

Best coffee I've had since we started our 3 month trip from Australia... strong and properly done milk... amazing scrambled eggs too! We enjoyed so much we came back to sit later in the afternoon for more coffee and a brownie (which was also delicious!) Good location to watch the town from, warm and cosy, and looks like dogs are more than welcome, with treats and water bowls brought out, cute!
